Caboose #112 was unique among the GBW fleet by being the only copula caboose on the modern roster. The rest were bay window types.  This caboose was purchased used from the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1980.

Bob Schoneman captured this picture of the caboose in August 1982.  In later years the caboose would get a large smoke jack added and the remaining side window would get blanked out.  The red markers on the caboose were used to indicate that this was the end of a train.

This caboose is still in service on the Wisconsin Central Railroad, usually seen in Chippewa Falls where it is used when the local trains have to make long backing moves to service Warehousing of Wisconsin east of the city.
